12 FLAWLESS PICS OF GODDESS LOCS INSPIRED BY MEAGAN GOOD
Goddess locs inspired by Meagan Good surfaced in the hair world a few years back. The style was done by Dr. Kari Williams in L.A and has taken naturalistas breath away! They are the bohemian, laid-back sister to the protective style, Faux locs. Faux locs have contained, sometimes burned ends, while the goddess locs is a more free-flowing half-done look on the ends. Faux locs are a great way to experiment with dreadlocks before making the commitment. |
TIPS FOR GREAT GODDESS LOCS:
- If you want your locs to last longer use human braiding hair for the curly ends instead of kankelon hair.
- Two strands twist your real hair first then braid in the curly hair to the ends.
- Tie your hair up with a silk scarf every night. (should at least last 3 months)
- You can wash and condition your hair with the locs in your hair.
- Use the L.O.C method to prepare your hair for the extensions.
- If you are doing them yourself start around the hairline first and then fill in the center so you can pull the unfinished part in a bun while you are working on them so you don’t look crazy if you need to run out and do errands.
- Prepare for about 2-5 days process to install if you are doing them by yourself. wear your hair out
- Depending on the length and thickness of your hair budget for about 8-12 packs of hair.
